Skill development programme for the women with disabilities
SFRAWD Livelihood Resource Centre is established to impart livelihood training to women with disabilities, enhancing their skill-sets and paving way for a sustainable livelihood and economic independence.
The Skill Development Programme facilitates the women with basic skill-based livelihood training to broaden their employment opportunities. More than 5 years down the road, the centre is continuously striving to provide livelihood training programs like tailoring trainings, Aari work trainings, Artificial jewellery making, Jute products making, etc. SFRAWD is looking forward to expanding and embracing the rural populations of the country significantly improving the socio-economic status of the disabled communities.
SFRAWD Skilling Centres work towards mitigating the unemployment rate among the disabled women. The centres employ a three step process, including Mobilization, Training and Placement, for reaching out to the unemployed youth and improving their chances at job placement or also encourage the person in self entrepreneurship.
